میری دھڑکنوں کو بڑھانے لگے ہیں۔

वो जलवा जब अपना दिखाने लगे हैं,
मेरी धड़कनों को बढ़ाने लगे हैं।

توبہ توبہ وہ صورت تیری کہ ہرسو نمایاں ہیں مورت تیری،
ہر ایک رنگ میں وہ نظر آنے لگے ہیں۔۔
میری دھڑکنوں کو بڑھانے لگے ہیں۔

तौबा तौबा वो सूरत तेरी कि हरसू नुमायां हैं मूरत तेरी,
हर एक रंग में वो नज़र आने लगे हैं।।
मेरी धड़कनों को बढ़ाने लगे हैं।

غمِ یار ہے دولتِ کم نہیں، کچھ ہو یا نہ ہو اب کوئی غم نہیں۔
وہ گاہے بگاہے پاس آنے لگے ہیں۔۔
میری دھڑکنوں کو بڑھانے لگے ہیں۔

ग़म ए यार है दौलत ए कम नहीं, कुछ हो या न हो अब कोई ग़म नहीं।
वो गाहे बगाहे पास आने लगे हैं।।
मेरी धड़कनों को बढ़ाने लगे हैं।

ائے معراؔج تیری زندگانی نہیں، مٹے جو‌ نہ ہستی تو جوانی نہیں۔
خودی کو خدا میں اب مٹانے لگے ہیں۔۔
میری دھڑکنوں کو بڑھانے لگے ہیں۔

ऐ “मेराज” तेरी ज़िंदगानी नहीं, मिटे जो न हस्ती तो जवानी नहीं।
ख़ुदी को ख़ुदा में अब मिटाने लगे हैं।।
