یہ ترنگا تو میری جان میری شان ہے یہ،
تعبیرِ خواب ہے باپو کا یہ ارمان ہے یہ۔
جسکی خاطر ہی شہیدوں کا لہو ہے پانی،
دیش پہ مر مٹے حق کے لیئے ایمان ہے یہ۔

وہی زندہ ہے، جو مرنے پہ ہوا امّادہ!
جھکنے نہ دینگے ترنگے کو میرا ہے وعدہ!

ये तिरंगा तो मेरी जान मेरी शान है ये,
ताबीरे ख़्वाब है बापू का ये अरमान है ये।
जिसकी ख़ातिर ही शहीदों का लहू है पानी,
देश पे मर मिटे हक़ के लिए ईमान है ये।

वही जिंदा है, जो मरने पे हुआ आमादा!

خون جو کرتے ہیں لوگوں کا وہ انسان نہیں،
وہ تو حیوان ہے شیطان ہے مسلمان نہیں۔
قابلِ رشک ہیں دنیا میں وہ جو مومن ہیں،
اور جو خوار ہیں وہ صاحبِ ایمان نہیں۔

رب کا پیارا ہے، وہ بندہ جو ہے سیدھا سادہ!

ख़ून जो करते हैं लोगों का वो इंसान नहीं,
वो तो हैवान है, शैतान है मुसलमान नहीं।
क़ाबिले रश्क हैं दुनिया में वो जो मोमिन हैं,
और जो ख़्वार हैं वो साहिबे ईमान नहीं।

रब का प्यारा है, वो बंदा जो है सीधा-सादा!

ستّ اور پریم، پر چلنے کا کرو ارادہ!

सभी धर्मों का जो है सार वो सच्चाई है,
आदमी है वो भला जिसमें के अच्छाई है।
ढाई अक्षर जो पढ़े प्रेम का सो पंडित है,
वो है अंधा कि जिसने ज्ञान नहीं पाई है।

सत्य और प्रेम, पर चलने का करो इरादा!
